Heavily modified and repaired version of Wikipedia Clean/Minimal. (I am not the original author of this script, although I did spend countless hours modifying it.) Changes Wikipedia to a BLACK themed research style. ALso fixed many of the issues that were causing it to be unusable with the newest updates to wikipedia and fixed the Main Page. LANGUAGES PORTAL DOES NOT DISPLAY CORRECTLY (still usable just looks like shit). Note: Few issues with colors on certain tables, very infrequent though, still working on it.
Grey Wikipedia theme, built in Wikipedia: Nicer search box (for Monobook). Edit: Fixed validation error, links are now bold.
Link to the Non-Rounded version (this IS updated for the new site design): http://userstyles.org/styles/28563 This style is broken since wiki changed their layout. I've done a new stylesheet at the posted link, but it's not rounded. If enough people shout here, I'll redo the rounded stylesheet to reflect wiki's new design, but I am not planning on it right now.
A clean, less distracting style for wikipedia.org, intended for wikipedia - r e a d e r s; hides most of the additional(rarely used) links/tools and provides a fixed searchbar on top. This style should work with most wikipedia language-versions. update(11.09.2009): major update - adapted the style to the new Wikipidia layout (at last); new lighter searchbar on top (like in ModernWiki SSB- which is now obsolete); made also a darkened / low contrast version of this style ( ModernWiki_Night ); _______________________________________________________________________________ update(22.02.2009): table coloring issues fixed ( Pxl_Buzzard reported ) update(22.01.2009)all pics used by this style are now embedded in the CSS file! (after some rigorous optimization :P & thx to makondo ;D )
Modified version of tjwoosta Wikipedia Dark grey Smooth.
Once I've become to hate the wikipedia's face... Tested on _en.wiki_ and _ru.wiki_ 2010.05.18: Minor changes (font size, backgrounds) 2010.04.23: Minor typo, tables, code-view and refs update 2010.03.28: Minor gallery and geo-coordinates update
ModernWiki_Night: .. a darkend / lower contrast version of ModernWiki ( ModernWiki ) - using a contrast and color schema similar to "NightShift - eye care"( NightShift - eye care ). update: (26.01.2011) - improved visibility(readability) of transparent .gif/.png images (thx to wretts); fixed a minor issue concerning top menu 'arrows' (22.10.2010) - improved readability for articles including & tags (22.10.2010) - fixed white gallery (.gallery css class) background note: (09. 2010) renewed my dark/lower contrast style for YouTube.com -> aBYTE: another Black YouTube Embodiment
I simply created a convergence of Coriolanus' "simple research" style and DaedalusIcarusHelios' "Dark shiny blue transparency" styles for Wikipedia. The main page is completely finished, and I attempted to restyle many articles on Wikipedia. However, since many articles do not fit a set layout, some may not be completely legible (especially in tables). I'm putting this out there so that people can use it 'as is' or edit it further to completely fit further articles. :)
Improves the readability of the articles.
Works, see the pics. There's a favicon style to go with it: Wikipedia favicon silver. I don't sign in and have no idea how it will look if you do. The left panel (seen on the shot) is thinner, logo is smaller and only visible when hover over the left side (see it hidden by default on other shot).
